Homage to the great album by the Beach Boys.

Homage to the classic second album by Radiohead, released in 1995. The original cover artwork was created by Stanley Donwood and Thom Yorke

Homage to the third LP by the Smashing Pumpkins, that was released as a double album in 1995. I purchased it on CD shortly after it was released in the UK and put it on to tape so I could listen to it on my bus ride to school every morning. I had to omit a few tracks to make it fit the tape. The missing tracks, I discovered, where actually amongst my favourites from the whole LP, including Bodies.

Homage to the LP Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd, released in 1973. The cover was created by Storm Thorgerson, following keyboardist Richard Wright’s suggestion for a classy, bold design. My older brother was a huge Pink Floyd fan so I was always intrigued by their music. I would sneak into his bedroom, a strict no-Jon zone, to dub his collection on to tape. I fell in love with this album. Listening to it now is like bathing in a vat of warm tea.

A collaboration between Dead Can Dance keyboard player Jules Maxwell and guitarist Stevie J Jones (AIR, Brian Eno, Bryan Ferry, Craig Armstrong, Imogen Heap etc). Since October 2020 they have explored a sense of not knowing in their daily music improvisations. Each day is archived, raw and unedited, and presented in 5 volumes of 20 recordings. This volume contains the recordings from 13th November - 14th December 2020.
